Shipping Policy

Buy in our virtual store with total security and confidence and choose between our methods of shipping or pick up in store.


At the time of purchase you must choose one of the following options:
Pick up at point of sale: you must select in which of our branches you want to pick up the products. This option has no cost and it is your responsibility to guarantee the best transport conditions, load and unload once the item is removed from our point of sale. You must withdraw your item within 24 business hours.
Freight against delivery: in this option you must send the data as complete as possible and you will be contacted to finalize details and confirm the delivery time. You bear the transportation costs and pay for it at the time you receive the item.
I want to be contacted: in this case, you must supply us with all your information so that we agree on the conditions, costs and delivery times.

General delivery term

The delivery time begins from the purchase confirmation, which will be notified by email within a maximum period of forty-eight (48) business hours from the purchase.

Delivery times may vary according to the selected courier company and depending on the destination. They occur at any time of the day.



Upon receipt of your items, check the content in the presence of the transporter, that the security tapes are not altered, that the content corresponds to what you requested and that everything is in good condition. If the recipient detects any anomaly or defect, write it on the carrier's form, sign the comment and contact our Customer Service line through any of the following means: the Customer Service form found on our website or directly at email, if you prefer by phone at 51 1 428 6983.

Installation, electricity and network work necessary for the operation of the purchased products are not included in the delivery service, nor are they part of the responsibilities of Scientific Satellite.

The prices published on the site DO NOT include shipping costs, product prices may change at any time without notice, promotions other than those presented on this site cannot be combined.

You agree to provide a valid address that can be found within the Colombian territory where the order can be delivered to you. In the event that you provide an address that is not located by the parcel, any other additional costs will be covered by you.

All shipments made by us and by our suppliers must be perfectly packaged, in case your order is delivered with physical damage by the courier company, you must add a note when signing the delivery guide to the courier service employee indicating that the package shows signs of abuse (box opened, beaten, perforated, wet, etc.) Without this note you receive the package accordingly. If the parcel service employee does not allow you to write down the delivery manifest, you should NOT receive the package.

If the goods purchased require mechanical assistance for unloading at the customer's premises, the customer must provide them (forklifts), and the staff to make the unloading.


Any person who is at the address where the delivery must be made will be duly authorized by the Client to receive her order. Consequently, Scientific Satellite is exonerated from any responsibility for the delivery it makes, provided that it is made at the address registered on our website.

If the order is not received at the address indicated after the original visit by the carrier, the item will be stored and the buyer will bear the deposit costs.
